It is built with a re-engineered NexCOR face, which is 7% larger than the previous model. Together with the High-Speed Cavity Back design, this delivers higher ball speed and more distance - even when you do not strike it exactly in the middle.

The variable face thickness makes the clubface faster and more "hot" at impact. Simply put, you get more energy transferred to the ball.
