2. Loft and flex: Loft means the angle of the clubface. If you have a low swing speed, choose a higher loft (10.5–12°). Flex describes how much the shaft bends. 3. Forgiveness: A club with a larger head (460cc for drivers) provides more stability on off-center hits. This is called high MOI (moment of inertia). In short – larger head = more forgiveness.

A small tip: If you are new, start with a complete set or the beginner package. Then you avoid guesswork.

Used versus new – how big is the difference really?

Many ask: Do I get the same performance with used?
Our experience says yes – almost always.

When you compare a 3-year-old TaylorMade-driver with a new model, the difference in ball speed is often under 1.5%. The biggest difference? Sound and cosmetics. So if you can live with a few scratches on the sole, you get the same distance for half the price.
