Get Used Golf Equipment with Quality, Price, and Security in the Same Swing
You want to play good golf, but without emptying your account.
Used golf equipment is the answer. You get premium brands at prices that make sense, and you help the planet at the same time.
Why Choose Used Golf Equipment?
There are three simple reasons: value, quality, and sustainability.
- Value: You typically save 40–70% compared to new. A Callaway-driver that cost 3,999 kr. two seasons ago can now be found for under 1,500 kr. and it still performs like a top club.
- Quality: Used golf clubs do not lose performance. The cosmetics may change, but the feel and precision remain the same.
- Sustainability: When you choose used, you save both CO₂ and waste. In fact, reusing equipment can reduce up to 25 kilos of CO₂ per set.
And yes – you still get a warranty and a 14-day trial period when you shop at WePlayAgain.
What to Look for When Choosing Used Golf Equipment?
Look for three things: condition, specifications, and fit.
- Condition: We describe the condition of the equipment as Like New, Good, Okay, or Worn and we take unique pictures of each product so you know exactly what you're getting.
- Loft and flex: Loft refers to the angle of the clubhead. If you have a low swing speed, choose a higher loft (10.5–12°). Flex describes how much the shaft flexes. Regular flex fits most, while stiff and x-stiff are suitable for higher swing speeds. For example, see Driver Regular Flex or Driver Stiff Flex.
- Forgiveness: A club with a larger head (460cc for drivers) provides more stability on off-center hits. This is called a high MOI (moment of inertia). In short – larger head = more forgiveness.
A small tip: If you are new, start with a complete set or a beginner's package. That way, you avoid guesswork.
Used vs. New – How Big is the Difference Really?
Many ask: Do I get the same performance with used?
Our experience says yes – almost always.
When you compare a 3-year-old TaylorMade-driver with a new model, the difference in ball speed is often under 1.5%. The biggest difference? Sound and cosmetics. So if you can live with a few scratches on the sole, you get the same distance for half the price.
A good tip: Buy quality one level below the top model. You get the technology from last season but avoid the price of this year's “fancy” version.

How to Check the Condition of Used Golf Equipment
All products at WePlayAgain have already been reviewed,
But here is our own checklist if you want to learn more about what we assess:
- Clubhead: We look for cracks, deep scratches, and loose finish.
- Shaft: We check that the shaft is secure and not bent.
- Grip: A good grip provides better feel. If we replace it, it will always be noted in the description.
- Balance: We test that the club feels stable and clean at impact.

Golf equipment that lasts - also used
Some brands hold their value better than others. Here are three general rules of thumb:
- Titleist and Ping have classic designs and slow model rotation – perfect for you who want stable performance and good resale value.
- Callaway and TaylorMade develop faster, but give you excellent performance and great savings.
- Mizuno and Srixon iron sets are known for feel and quality. Find them in categories like iron sets under 2000 kr..
Don't forget the small details like golf grips, bags and headcovers – they work wonders for the overall impression, especially if you sell later.
Sustainability: good for the game and for the planet
Buying used is not just about price. It is also a concrete step towards more responsible consumption.
Globally, the second-hand sports market is expected to grow to over 350 billion USD by 2028, and in Denmark, interest is increasing year by year.
And by giving your equipment an extra life:
- you extend the product's lifespan by 50%
- reduce the need for new materials
- save up to 20 kg CO₂ per driver production
In short: good for the game, good for the economy, and good for the planet.
