Here is everything you need to know about TaylorMade Midr Proto #3 Fairway Shaft / Flex A-flex / TaylorMade 2nd Gen
An original TaylorMade fairway shaft for those who want more control and stability in their fairway wood.
Midr Proto is developed with a mid launch profile. This provides a balanced ball flight where you are not chasing either too high or too low launch.
The shaft is made of graphite, which provides a good blend of flexibility, stability, and a more muted feel through the swing. This can be especially nice when you are hitting from the turf and want to feel the club without it feeling harsh.
It is a great fit if you play fairway wood from the fairway or tee and want a shaft that helps with direction, height, spin, and feel in the shot.
“Proto” means that the shaft is a prototype or development variant in TaylorMade’s shaft program. The final playing feel depends on the specific setup and fitting to your fairway wood head.
In short: A technically interesting TaylorMade fairway shaft for the golfer who wants a stable and controlled fairway wood with a consistent ball flight.
