This is a 260cc mini-driver – bigger than your 3-wood, smaller than a traditional driver – and designed as a true 3-wood replacement from the tee. You get a compact look with a silver crown and a club that sits stable behind the ball.
The technology is classic SLDR:
- low-spin for a penetrating ball flight
- low-forward CG that keeps spin down and speed up
- Patented Speed Pocket that increases ball speed and gives extra yards
At the sweet spot you get the same ball speed as with a driver. In return, it is less forgiving than a 430/460-driver, so you need to strike it reasonably cleanly. If you do, you’re rewarded with distance and accuracy from the tee.
