With the new TX3 grooves, you get up to 7% more groove volume, which means more friction and better control – especially on partial shots and chips around the green. The deeper grooves effectively channel grass and sand away during contact, giving you a cleaner strike and more consistent spin.
The double-milled face and micro-edges ensure maximum friction – and it lasts over time thanks to the high-frequency heat treatment.
Whether you have a steep or flat swing path, there is a tour-tested grind that suits you. The SM5 is available in a total of 6 different grind profiles and 21 loft/bounce combinations, so you can find the right setup for both bunkers, fairways, and tight lies.
The design is compact and inspired by tour feedback – with a shorter head length and rounded toe, it sits nicely behind the ball and feels precise at address.
