TaylorMade SIM MAX 5-wood from 2020 is built for mid-to-high handicappers (10-24) who want more forgiveness on longer shots from the fairway. The iconic V-Steel sole and the large sweet spot make it easier to get the ball up and away, even when you don’t strike it perfectly from the center.
With its 19-degree loft, this 5-wood delivers a moderate ball flight — not high, but stable and penetrating. It’s ideal for long approach shots or safe shots from the tee, where you’re looking for distance and control without having to send the ball excessively high. The low center of gravity helps you lift the ball, even though the loft keeps the trajectory a bit flatter.
Fujikura Ventus Red shaft in A-flex suits players with a smooth tempo and moderate swing speed. The lightweight graphite (50 g) makes it easier to work through the swing plane and helps you find the right rhythm. The condition is worn, so you get a solid club for practice or everyday play without having to worry about a scratch more or less.
