Used drivers - premium equipment without the premium price
Do you want a driver that feels like new – but without the price tag from the store? Here you will find used drivers that have been quality checked, photographed from all angles, and ready for several seasons in the bag.
We explain the difference between the models, how to choose the right one, and why “used” often means smart buying.
Why choose a used driver?
In short: because you get more value for your money.
A new driver easily costs 3,000–4,000 DKK. A used one of the same quality? Typically 30–50% less, and the difference in distance is often only 10–20 meters.
An independent test has shown that there is only about 22 yards (approximately 20 meters) difference between a 1991 and a 2023 model. This means that a driver that is 2–3 years old performs almost like the newest ones – just at a lower price.
Additionally: less waste, fewer resources, longer lifespan.
It’s good for both the environment and your wallet.
What should you look for?
A driver may look the same on the surface. But small details make a huge difference.
Loft – the player's “help” in the air
The loft (the angle of the clubhead) determines how high the ball flies.
- Do you have a low swing speed? Go for 10.5–12° – it helps the ball up.
- Do you have a high speed? Then 9–10.5° can provide a lower, more penetrating flight.
The shaft's flex – the feel of the shot
The shaft bends during the swing, and it should match your rhythm:
- Ladies / Regular flex: best for moderate speeds.
- Stiff / X-Stiff flex: for fast swingers who hit hard.
If you’re unsure between two? Start softer – it gives more length and control.

Condition and transparency
We describe each driver exactly as it is. You can expect:
- Like new – almost no signs of use.
- Good – slight wear on the sole or crown (only cosmetic).
- Okay – a bit more noticeable use, but nothing that affects play.
- Worn – for back or training use.
All items have unique images, so you see the exact club you will receive.
You get a 14-day trial period and a 2-year warranty.

Which used driver is right for you?
Let’s make it really easy: choose based on how you play – not based on what your friends use.
Are you new to golf?
Beginners get the most joy from a forgiving driver with a large head (460cc) and higher loft.
Good models to look for:
- TaylorMade M2 or SIM Max
- Callaway Big Bertha
- Ping G-series
They help you if the shot doesn’t always frames right in the middle.

Do you play often?
Then you might have a handle on ball flight and tempo. Try an adjustable driver with the option to change loft and weight distribution. Here are models like:
- Titleist TS2
- Cobra Darkspeed
- Ping G425
They allow for fine-tuning and precision.
Do you have a lower swing speed?
Then a lightweight driver with a higher loft and Regular- or Ladies-shaft can give you extra distance.
Look for:
- Cobra F-Max
- TaylorMade Kalea
- Ping G Le series
See Driver Ladies Flex.
Used drivers vs. new – what's the difference?
Here’s what you actually get less of when buying used: packaging, new car smell, and a shiny sole.
Here’s what you still get:
- the same titanium and carbon technology
- almost identical ball speed
- the ability to perfectly match loft and flex to you
And as a bonus: less depreciation. A new driver loses 30–40% of its value in the first year, while a used one holds its price much better.
How to check the quality of a used driver
We go through everything – but if you want to assess it yourself when you’re holding a club in your hand, use this short checklist:
- Crown: look for scratches and dents (mostly cosmetic).
- Sole: natural wear is OK – but deep gouges are not.
- Face: small impact marks are normal – but check that the surface is not dented.
- Shaft: hold the club in front of you – does it look straight?
- Grip: an old grip can always be replaced (typically costs 100–300 DKK).

When to buy used and when to buy new?
Buy used if you:
- want premium-equipment without the premium price
- want to test different models without committing
- play a few times a week and want high quality
Consider new if you:
- want a very specific fitting
- play tournaments and seek marginal improvements
- want full factory service (even though you still get a 2-year warranty with us)
Care and maintenance: how to make your driver last longer
A used driver has already survived its first season – but take good care of it, and it will last many more:
- Clean the face after each round (a damp cloth will do).
- Store it dry and not in frost.
- Replace the grip when it feels slick or hard.
- Always use headcover – especially during transport.
See our selection of headcovers and golf bags, if you want to protect the clubs better.
