Here is everything you need to know about Callaway XR Fairway Wood / Flex A-flex / #5 / 18
Callaway XR from 2015 is a fairway wood, combining speed and forgiveness in a classic design.
The club has been extended by 1.50", giving you longer reach and a larger swing arc – useful if you are tall or prefer a more upright setup.
Benefits for you:
- Project X graphite shaft at 53 g provides an easier swing and comfortable feel
- A-flex suits moderate swing speeds and smooth loading
- 18° loft ensures controlled and stable ball flight from the fairway
This example is worn, but still works well for practice or as an extra club in the bag.
In short: Solid 5-wood with longer shaft and soft flex.
