When you buy used, you reuse resources that have already been spent, which saves both energy and raw materials.

3. Realistic value.

Our condition categories:

• Like new (9/10): Tested a few times, almost no signs of use.
• Good (8/10): Light wear, but fully ready for play.
• Okay (7/10): Clearly used, but functional.
• Worn (6/10 or below): Perfect for beginners or practice.

What to look for, from driver to putter

The choice depends on swing speed, experience, and comfort. Here’s a quick guide:

Swing speed (mph)	Recommended flex type
70-85	Driver Ladies Flex
85-95	Driver Regular Flex
95-105	Driver Stiff Flex
105+	Driver X-Stiff Flex

The rule is: under 95 mph → Regular flex, over 95 mph → Stiff or X-Stiff (source: TrackMan, manufacturer data).

Do you want more distance? Go for a driver with a 460cc head and a higher loft (10.5-12°). This helps especially if you have a low to moderate swing speed.

Irons, wedges, and utility

A solid iron set provides stability. For precision close to the green, we recommend a wedge or chipper, and if you want an alternative to long irons, try a Utility Iron, which gives a lower ball flight and more control in the wind.

Shafts and heads

Don't forget that the shaft is the engine of the club. Try golf shafts in graphite for low weight and more flexibility, or steel shafts  for more precision.

Do you play regularly and want a step up? Look for newer models from the last two to three years. The difference from the 2025 models is often only cosmetic. Popular choices are TaylorMade, Titleist and Callaway in condition 8-9/10.

Do you have a powerful swing? Consider a Driving Iron, which gives a lower ball flight and more precision from the tee.

How to take care of your equipment

A used set can last for many seasons if you take good care of it.

1. Dry the clubheads after playing in damp grass.
2. Store the bag dry, as frost and moisture can damage shaft and grip.
3. Use headcovers, hybrid headcovers and putter headcovers to protect the faces.
4. Change your grips every 1-2 years. It keeps the comfort and control.

A well-kept set holds its shape and has a better resale value when you want to trade it in again.
